Dear Member
It is with great pleasure that I have taken over the ‘reign’ of Chairperson of SRC for the next twelve months. I would like to welcome members old and new to what should be an exciting programme of events for the club. We will be holding our normal events such as the very popular Winter Dressage series, William Mifflin clinic show jumping day, trip to Olympia and Christmas meal over the next few months which I hope you will be able to support. If you have any suggestions for any events you would like the club to hold please feel free to speak to any Committee member or give me a ring.
I would also like to say a very warm welcome to our new Instructor, Caryl Hardy, B.H.S.I. who has joined our illustrious team of instructors, Anthony Perkins and Jane Ford. Caryl has a wealth of experience, particularly in show jumping and I am sure will be a huge asset to our Wednesday evening showjumping lessons.

HOW TO JOIN SOUTHERNDOWN RIDING CLUB
SRC is an affiliated Riding Club and we renew our memberships annually. If the club is full, the membership secretary who is Mair Jones is happy to take your name and address details and keep them on file until the new membership year starts which is normally SEPT. We take Junior and Senior members in the riding club. Juniors have to be 8 years old to become a member. Please email Mair on nagline@yahoo.co.uk if you would like more information on membership.
RANGE OF ACTIVITIES
SRC offers a good range of activities and we are also open to new suggestions. We have an annual AGM where everone is invited to share their views. We are always looking for fresh ideas and members who are willing to offer their experiences or help in any areas. We take part in social events as often as possible from an annual Quiz to a christmas party or meal. We like to think of ourselves as being a club which is versatile towards all abilities, from those members who like to have weekly lessons and catch up with other members to those who want to compete within various disciplines. We have something for everyone.

It is a statutory rule of SRC that mounted members wear club colours. This consists of 1 or more of the following items: Sweat/Polo/rugby shirts OR correct dress (shirt hacking jacket & tie).
No exceptions - No excuse - No escape !!
